Video: Los Bonsáis’ Self-Directed “Serín” [ESP]

We’ve heard many versions of the “noise rock + pretty lady voice” formula, particularly from Spain, but that doesn’t mean we’re over it. Asturian duo Los Bonsáis—Nel González and Helena Toraño—recently came out with their second release off Elefant Records, an eight-track mini LP titled Martín Pescador. The album moves lightly and briskly, bouncing from one bursting two-minute track to the other. The band-directed video for “Serín” is below and it’s all very Agnès Varda minus the French stuff.
