Spoonfed Singles Club: Los Bonsáis
This is really not what I was expecting when I clicked the link. With a name like Los Bonsáis and a song called Ultramarinos I thought I was going to get some nerd-metal band singing about space orks or something, so I was more than happy to find out that Los Bonsáis are in fact this Spanish noise pop band who sound like Screeching Weasel meeting The Pastels but a thousand times better.
To be fair, my Spanish sucks, so this could be about space orks or laser battles or whatever, but it doesn’t really matter, as the song is just so awesome. Sometimes it pays to click on strange links. 4.6/5

En el blog de "Señor Pollo"
Los Bonsáis son un dúo de Asturias, formado por Helena y Nel, que comenzaron a grabar ellos mismos sus primeras demos en 2010.
En este 2011 decidieron grabar su primera demo EP, el cual están intentando darle la máxima difusión posible en Internet.
Entre sus influencias están: My Bloody Valentine, Black Tambourine, The Vaselines, The Pastels, The Jesus and Mary Chain, Beat Happening …
Las canciones, los diseños y las fotos son todas hechas por ellos mismos, les mueve mucho el “hágalo usted mismo”.
Como planes más inmediatos, sacarán un nuevo single digital para subirlo a bandcamp en julio o agosto, que ira acompañado de un videoclip, el cual están grabando en estos momentos, también de facturación propia.
Les encanta el feedback, la distorsión y la melodía, y gustan de etiquetar su música como noise pop.

Aparecemos en el blog: Bandcamp Favorites.
No sabemos mucho de este blog pero se describe así: "Just good music from Bandcamp (free or not), in some styles: shoegaze, dreampop, post-rock, indie, indiepop, indiefolk, songwriters..."
Echándole una ojeada uno se puede encontrar un montón de bandas interesantes, a nosotros nos etiquetan como "Spanish shoegaze"
